I'm a strong believer that entrepreneurship is done right with family in tow.
And if you’re anything like us, maybe two spheres…
a person who inspires or influences others, especially one prominent in a particular sphere.
Although, I didn’t always operate that way…
I was on-fire with my work and built with the *intention* of someday having the freedom to be a totally present parent and wife.
Oh, how cute of me to think that “someday” exists…
But isn’t that the mistake a lot of us make? We kick off our business with a pretty honorable dream of creating a life of freedom and possibility for our families, only to build an engine that requires so much of us, it comes at the expense of those things we say we value.
I could tell you countless tales of well-meaning people who are so head-down-devoted to achieving success that they fail to see that it’s at the expense of their relationships, integrity, and potential.
So what shifted for me?
I’d love to tell you that it all changed in one dramatic moment when my child, with tears in his eyes, looked deeply into mine and tenderly told me that… I was a garbage heap of a parent who had to get their *ish together.
Not so much.
In fact, it was way worse. It was too-many-moments-to-count that led to the normalcy and acceptance of how we were living (if you could even call it that), that made me realize how far we were from where we wanted to be.
And what was going to change that?
More work? More clients? More money? That next big win?
No. It had to be me.
And after over a decade of mentoring high-achieving entrepreneurs and small business owners, it became glaringly obvious that I was not alone in this struggle.
Most of us were well-intentioned, with bad math.
We had convinced ourselves that TIME + HARD WORK = FREEDOM.
I feel very qualified to speak to business strategy, marketing, and leadership. That’s what I do.
But who am I?
It’s less about being qualified and more about being convicted.
with you,
so that's where we start.
With a business that allows for the freedom,
prosperity, and capacity to raise up
a family that thrives.
Let’s make our barometers for success: how we raise our children, the margin in our schedules, the impact of our work, and the generational wealth we’re building.
That’s the wisdom I want to impart to other entrepreneurs, so we can become the generation of inspiring leaders (in our businesses, and our homes) instead of grinding away as the bottlenecks to true potential.
